2013 NBA Draft Preview - Shooting Guards

As promised, here goes my list of the top shooting guard prospects in this year’s draft.

          NBA Comparison: Ray Allen
          Strength: Combination of athleticism and shooting ability
          Weakness: Average ball-handling skills
2.       Victor Oladipo, 6’4” 213, Jr., Indiana
          NBA Comparison: Tony Allen with range
          Strength: Lock-down defender
          Weakness: Shooting off the dribble
3.       Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, 6’6” 204, So., Georgia
          NBA Comparison: A more athletic Morris Almond
          Strength: Scoring ability
          Weakness: Turnover-prone
4.       James Franklin, 6’5” 191, Jr., San Diego State
          NBA Comparison: A slighty smaller Josh Howard
          Strength: Tenacity
          Weakness: Jump shot
5.       Tim Hardaway, 6’6” 199, Jr., Michigan
          NBA Comparison: Wesley Person
          Strength:  Shooting off of screens and curls
          Weakness:  Defensive consistency
